Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 1,270 applicants this year submitted their documents to Akfa University. Entrance exams to a private university will be held on 29-30 July 2020. This was reported by the press service of Akfa University.

The admission campaign of Akfa University began on 1 April. Until 20 July, applicants could submit their documents online through the official website of the university. At the moment, the university offers courses only in the direction of medicine.

Entrance exams to Akfa University will be held on 29 and 30 July in three subjects: mathematics, biology and chemistry (20 questions in each subject). The exam lasts 90 minutes. Results will be announced on July 30th.

“This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, entrance exams will be held online. Applicants will take exams using a special program that will ensure the objectivity of exams. The system has the ability to automatically record violations by applicants if they try to use cheat sheets or get help from third parties,” said Rector of AKFA University Bekhzod Jalilov.

In 2020/2021 academic year, AKFA University plans to admit 100 students to the Faculty of Medicine. At the same time, two students will have the opportunity to study for free. Another 40 students will receive discounts on tuition payments ranging from 10% to 75%.

The educational process at Akfa University is carried out in partnership with leading international research institutes, as well as with Gachon University in South Korea and our compatriots who work abroad.

Education at the university is conducted in English and lasts 6 years (2 years of preparatory medical courses, 4 years of medical courses). Graduates are awarded a diploma of higher education.
