AKFA International University to start work from 2019-2020 academic year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International Medical University - AKFA International University - will begin its work in Tashkent from 2019-2020 academic year.

The delegation of the multidisciplinary medical center AKFA Medline visited the city of Inchon (South Korea) on 27-28 September.

During the visit, the delegation of Uzbekistan held talks with the leadership of the University of Gachon. The parties discussed the activities of the university in Tashkent.

Following the negotiations, a bilateral agreement was signed between AKFA Medline Medical Center and Gachon University.

According to the document, it is established that the university will begin to function from the 2019-2020 academic year. All classes will be held in English. The term of study is 6 years.

On 25 May 2018, a delegation led by the Vice President of the Gil Hospital at Gachon University Myung Xi Chung has already visited AKFA Medline. In Tashkent, the parties signed an agreement on mutual cooperation, according to which the Korean side promised to provide assistance in equipping the new educational institution with all the necessary textbooks and programs.
