Airports of Uzbekistan Handle More Than 12 Million Passengers in 10 Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s airports demonstrated steady growth in key performance indicators — passenger traffic, number of flights, and cargo volume — over January to October 2025, according to Uzbekistan Airports.

During the 10-month period, the airports served 12,683,095 passengers, including 2,296,612 on domestic routes and 10,386,483 on international flights, representing a 14% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The total number of flights handled reached 105,570, including 30,341 domestic and 75,229 international flights, showing a 13% rise year-on-year.

Cargo and mail throughput amounted to 78,453 tonnes, which is 12% higher than in January–October 2024. The growth in indicators reflects the continued recovery of the aviation sector and the expansion of passenger and cargo operations both domestically and internationally.
