Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 18 April 2020, the first batch of humanitarian aid sent by the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation as part of the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 arrived at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. This was reported by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia.
The cargo included medical masks. In total, the Uzbek side plans to transfer 5 million medical masks and medical gauze to Russia.
The plane with humanitarian aid was met by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Moscow and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
