Airbus Reports 2025 Revenue of €73.4 Billion and Net Profit of €5.22 Billion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Airbus SE has reported its financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, achieving record performance across key business segments and strengthening its position in the global aviation, defense, and space markets.

Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury noted that strong demand for the company’s products and services enabled it to navigate challenging operational conditions and meet strategic objectives, despite a significant shortage of Pratt & Whitney engines.

He highlighted that the company’s broad and competitive portfolio in the Defence and Space and Helicopters segments secures its leadership in the defense sector, while joint projects in the space industry lay the foundation for a new global player in industrial space. The 2025 results are supported by a proposal to increase dividend payments.

During the year, Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft, up from 766 in 2024, with revenue rising 6% to €73.4 billion. Adjusted EBIT reached €7.128 billion, net profit amounted to €5.221 billion, and earnings per share were €6.61.

Free cash flow before customer financing totaled €4.574 billion, with overall free cash flow at €4.753 billion. Cash on hand at year-end reached €27.2 billion, while net cash position was €12.2 billion. The company fully met its 2025 guidance and proposed a dividend of €3.20 per share.

Airbus also reported growth in orders and its backlog by year-end. Gross commercial aircraft orders totaled 1,000 units, net orders reached 889, and the overall order backlog hit a record 8,754 aircraft. Airbus Helicopters received 536 orders, while the Defence and Space segment achieved €17.7 billion. The total order value exceeded €123 billion, with the aggregate backlog reaching €619 billion.

Deliveries by segment included 93 A220s, 607 A320-family aircraft, 36 A330s, and 57 A350s. Revenue breakdown was as follows: commercial aviation €52.6 billion, Helicopters €9.0 billion (up 13%), and Defence and Space €13.4 billion (up 11%). Revenue growth was driven by increased deliveries, expanded services, and higher volumes in defense and space.

The company continues to ramp up production and aims to reach the following target rates between 2027–2029: 13 A220s per month by 2028, 70–75 A320s per month by the end of 2027, 5 A330s per month by 2029, and 12 A350s per month by 2028. Production growth remains constrained by the shortage of Pratt & Whitney engines.

The Airbus Board of Directors will propose a dividend of €3.20 per share at the annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 14, 2026, with an expected payment date of April 23, 2026.

The 2025 results and 2026 outlook confirm Airbus’s strategic resilience, its ability to adapt to changing market conditions, and its leadership in commercial aviation, defense, and the space sector.
