AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019 kicks off in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 14th International Agricultural Exhibition - AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019 – the major sector event in Uzbekistan, will be held in Tashkent, Uzexpocentre NEC, on 13-15 March 2019. The exhibition is organized by Iteca Exhibitions, the leader in holding international exhibitions in Uzbekistan.

Annually, AgroWorld Uzbekistan has been trusted by professionals and key players of the agro-industrial market. The experience of conducting the leading event of the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan has demonstrated that the exhibition justifies the interests and expectations of all domestic market participants through creating a single platform for showcasing new solutions and approaches to development of agricultural production for supporting thousands of rural workers at the beginning of the new agricultural season. This important component of the exhibition was particularly emphasised by Mr. Jamshid Khodjaev, the Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan.

 In his welcome greeting to the participants and guests of the event, he stressed as follows: “AgroWorld Uzbekistan has become a platform for close cooperation between the suppliers of the modern technologies and solutions and agricultural producers of all forms of ownership, and for 14 years the exhibition has been demonstrating achievements of the industry, capabilities of domestic producers and interest in the sector development expressed by foreign companies”.

The AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019 exposition will be unfolded in three central pavilions, as well as on the open viewing site of Uzexpocentre NEC. More then 150 companies from 22 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition, namely from: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyz Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Ukraine and France. This year, the overseas participants occupy 90% of the total exposition area.

For the first time, 61 companies will take part under the Turkish flag, including manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for industrial greenhouses, solutions for crop production with protected ground, machines for grain crop processing and storing, equipment for poultry farms, gearboxes and soil tillage equipment.

The high image of AgroWorld Uzbekistan, as a respected international forum, is evidenced by the participation of the official delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands consisting of 45 companies led by the Ambassador of this country. At the same time, 12 companies will directly exhibit their innovations in various branches of agriculture. Also, within the framework of the exhibition, the Netherlands-Uzbekistan Agribusiness Forum will be held both in Tashkent and in Namangan cities providing the most efficient opportunity to communicate in B2B format with the sector professionals.

This year, for the first time, the Export Support Centres of Omsk and Voronezh Regions (Russian Federation), will take part in the exhibition that is also an evidence of the positive cooperation development dynamics with the leading Russian companies for implementing the best practices in the sector.

The need for special attention to agriculture and animal husbandry had been emphasised in several governmental documents on development of the greenhouses and cattle-breeding complexes, which was taken into account by the organizers in preparation for this year’s exhibition. As a result, the exposition grew up by 35% thanks to expansion of the exposition sections: Equipment and Turn-key Construction of Greenhouses and Livestock Management. Also, the attention of professionals will be attracted by traditionally the most relevant areas of the agricultural sector and a wide range of products presented in the sections: Poultry Farm Equipment, Mineral Fertilizers, Feeds, Additives and Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Machinery and etc.

The expansion in the number of participants has made it possible to clearly segment the sections of the exposition to improve convenience for the professionals to visit the stands of the exhibitors.

The exhibitors will present equipment and technologies for livestock, poultry management and greenhouses, solutions for feed and grain industries. More than 60 exhibition participants are participating for the first time with their equipment for various sectors of the agricultural sector. Among them: Kleymann Viehhandels GmbH (Germany) - cattle supply; Richel Group S.A.S. (France) – a European leader in industrial greenhouses; Veterinary Medicines Plant JSC (Russia) - medicines for animals; Valtsmatik (Russia) - logistics equipment for greenhouses; UIK LLC (Uzbekistan) – turn-key greenhouses, Alapros (Turkey) - design, automation, production of flour-grinding machines and equipment; Ronar BV (the Netherlands) - equipment for feed mills; Tecnoclima S.p.A. (Spain) - air conditioning systems for agricultural enterprises; Pecus International A/S (Denmark) - supply of meat and dairy cattle from Denmark, etc.

The Livestock Management section will present achievements of both domestic and foreign companies for sharing experience and finding new markets. Genetics in animal husbandry will be presented by Firma Schaap (the Netherlands), Pecus International A/S (Denmark), Sifat AgroOzuqa and Agro Milking Systems, LLC. (Uzbekistan).

The Poultry Farming, one of the popular exhibition sections, will present a wide range of equipment and technologies for full cycle agro-industrial production from reproduction, rearing, breeding and fattening up to product processing.

The Gardening section will demonstrate planting material, land farming equipment, and plant protection products.

Irrational use of water resources is one of the key reasons preventing sustainable development of irrigated agriculture in Uzbekistan. One of the ways to address the problem is to use drip irrigation systems which will be presented by Turkish companies Agroboss Sulama, Ege Plast, and Pimtas Plastic.

Greenhouses and greenhouse equipment will be presented by 34 companies from Azerbaijan, China, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and France.

The Business Program within the framework of the exhibition has become its key component for different participants and invited industry professionals. This year, both presentations and a number of unique training seminars and workshops will enhance the value of the exhibition for visitors, including thousands of representatives of farmers and dekhkan farms.
