The document was signed after the meeting of the Vice-Rector for International Activities of the Russian university Yevgeny Koshkin and the delegation of the Tashkent Institute of Agricultural Irrigation and Mechanization.

The sides discussed cooperation between universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further expand bilateral strategic cooperation and allied relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation".
