According changes, now foreign airlines can pay for air navigation and board foods in national currency via accounts of their representative offices in Uzbekistan.
Foreign airlines can sell tickets to citizens of Uzbekistan in hard currency, but they should sell 50% of revenue in hard currency.
Norma.uz reported that the regulation on order of providing information to state bodies and repatriation of funds by offices of foreign airlines was amended and now the agents of foreign airlines should sell 50% of commission fee received in hard currency.
Fifty percent of the commission fees, approved by the agent of the main agency of air communications, in hard currency should be sold to the authorized bank.
Earlier, the commission fees, received in hard currency by the agents of the airlines, were sold to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in full volume.
