Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential Resolution "On the organization of the activities of the Agency for the Regulation of the Alcohol and Tobacco Market and the Development of Winemaking of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted.

The resolution approved the structure of the Agency for the Regulation of the Alcohol and Tobacco Market and the Development of Winemaking.

The Director of the Agency is appointed and dismissed by the Prime Minister.

The director of the Agency for the status, conditions of remuneration, medical and transport services is equal to the deputy minister.

According to the resolution, decisions on the issue, suspension or termination, as well as on the cancellation or renewal of a license for the production of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and tobacco products are made by the Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers for licensing the production of ethyl alcohol, alcohol and tobacco products.
