Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools created

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On the establishment of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the President’s Resolution “On measures to organize the activities of the Agency for the Development of the Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The decree established the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The following institutions are transferred to the Agency’s departmental:

• Presidential schools;
• creative schools;
• A specialized school with in-depth study of subjects related to the direction of information and communication technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy and the State Specialized Boarding School named after Mirzo Ulugbek, as well as a Specialized Boarding School for Young Biologists and Chemists named after Abu Ali ibn Sino.

The decree assigned its primary tasks of the Agency.

Thus, the Agency implements a unified state policy in the field of identification, selection, training and education of youth in Presidential, creative and specialized schools.

The Agency is headed by a Director appointed and dismissed by the President on the proposal of the Prime Minister.

State educational standards for presidential, creative and specialized schools are approved by the Agency.
