Agat Credit Prepares Third Bond Issue and Plans Transition to Microfinance Bank
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Microfinance organization Agat Credit has announced preparations for its third corporate bond issue in 2025, alongside plans to transform into a microfinance bank.
On September 10, 2025, the company’s Supervisory Board approved the parameters of the new issue: 400,000 bonds with a nominal value of 100,000 soums each will be placed, totaling 40 billion soums. The coupon rate is set at 27% per annum, with monthly payments and a maturity period of 365 days.
This marks Agat Credit’s third bond issue of the year. The first, launched in March for 40 billion soums with a yield of 29%, was fully placed among investors. The second, issued in July for 30 billion soums with a yield of 28%, was sold out in a record three hours.
In addition, an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders is scheduled for October 10, 2025, where the proposal to transform Agat Credit into a microfinance bank by changing the company’s line of business will be considered.
