Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is searching for persons who fired rockets at Uzbekistan. This was stated by the official representative of the interim government of Afghanistan, Zabiullah Mujahid.

He noted that the launch of missiles from Afghanistan to Uzbekistan is the work of evil circles who want to sow distrust between the two friendly countries.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is trying to arrest these criminals and bring them to justice, he said.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, on 5 July 2022, at about 4:20 p.m. in the border area of Uzbekistan, the fall of five rockets, presumably flown from the territory of Afghanistan, was noted.

When the shells fell, there were no explosions, as a result of which there were no human casualties and no destruction. Minor damage was caused to four private houses in the mahalla "Majnuntol" in Termez, the fifth projectile was found on the football field. The discovered shells were defused by a sapper unit.
