Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will arrive in Uzbekistan on 4 December 2017 at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Presidents of two countries will discuss the current state of relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, as well as priorities for development of cooperation in long-term during the high-level talks.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will exchange views on key international issues and issues of regional security.
Presidents of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will adopt a joint statement following the talks. The delegations of the two countries will sign a package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, scientific-educational and other fields, as well as commercial contracts.
The President of Afghanistan will visit Bukhara during a visit to Uzbekistan and address the faculty members and students of the Bukhara State University.
