Afghan Delegation Visits Surkhandarya Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 25 to 28 March 2026, the “Made in Afghanistan” exhibition was held in Tashkent at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event brought together more than 30 representatives of Afghan business circles and over 20 entrepreneurs from Tajikistan.

Following the exhibition, the delegation visited the Surkhandarya region.

The guests ознакомились with products showcased at the “Kuzichokli” youth industrial zone in Denov district and participated in B2B meetings with local entrepreneurs.

The exhibition primarily featured goods produced in the Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions.

The event aimed to strengthen trade and economic ties with neighboring countries, expand export opportunities for local producers, and promote the region’s industrial potential on the international stage.

During the meetings, participants emphasized the importance of such initiatives for developing business contacts, ensuring regional stability, and stimulating economic growth.
