Affordable housing to be built for forestry workers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On additional measures to improve the efficiency of forest management in the republic” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, from 1 January 2020:

- the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Forestry Committee on Investment and Public-Private Partnerships is being established;

- official salaries of employees of budgetary organizations included in the structure of the Committee are calculated with a factor increase of 1.5 times.

According to the resolution, payment of a paid contract to students, who were fully supported by the government during the period of their admission to study at higher educational institutions in the field of forestry on the basis of a paid contract will be subject to their subsequent working out for at least 5 years in the organizations of the Committee system.

In order to provide housing workers on preferential terms, the construction of multi-storey affordable residential buildings will be carried out on the territory of the Darkhan Scientific Experimental Station.

The resolution approved the Forestry Development Program for 2020-2024.
