AFC seeks security guarantees from Lebanon FA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- AFC has asked for security guarantees from the Lebanon Football Association for the AFC Cup 2011 Group A match between Al Ansar and Nasaf (Uzbekistan) on May 4.

Reacting to Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF)’s concerns over safety and security of Nasaf in the West Asian country, AFC has asked the Lebanese FA to provide letters of guarantee with regards to proper security arrangements for the teams, match officials, and others.

The Lebanese FA has been asked to submit the guarantee letters by Wednesday.

Nasaf are leading the Group A with nine points while Al Ansar are second with six.
