ADB and Uzbekistan Review 2025 Projects, Plan 2026 Program
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 March, a final meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) mission was held in Tashkent to review operations and formulate the country program for 2026.
The event was co-chaired by Leah Gutierrez, Director of the Central and West Asia Department at ADB, and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov.
The meeting brought together 45 high-level representatives from more than 20 executive agencies.
During the session, participants reviewed the portfolio of joint projects completed in 2025, agreed on concrete measures for ongoing initiatives, and outlined a package of projects for 2026.
Executive agencies demonstrating the best performance in project implementation received certificates of appreciation, highlighting the importance of effective collaboration between the bank and national institutions for Uzbekistan’s continued economic development.
