Adamas Ilkevicius Steps Down from UzAssets
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Adamas Ilkevicius, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of JSC “UzAssets”, has announced his resignation, effective 1 November 2025. He shared the news on LinkedIn, noting that the Board and the Shareholder were formally notified of his decision on 15 October.
Ilkevicius stated that it had been a great honor to contribute to the reform and transformation of Uzbekistan’s state-owned enterprises. He expressed gratitude to colleagues from the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, relevant ministries and agencies, as well as international partners and the UzAssets team for their joint efforts.
“Together, we placed entire sectors and major state-owned enterprises on the path of reform, strengthened corporate governance, and professionalized the supervisory boards of 23 strategically important industrial companies,” he emphasized.
According to Ilkevicius, the progress achieved provides an opportunity to pause, reflect on personal priorities, and prepare for the next stage of his professional journey. He also expressed his intention to continue supporting Uzbekistan’s reform agenda in an independent advisory capacity.
