Accesa Expands Presence in Uzbekistan: Minister of Digital Technologies Discusses Investments and IT Service Exports
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with representatives of Accesa and its parent structure, a leading European provider of digital solutions in the banking and high-tech sectors.
The talks focused on the prospects for expanding Accesa’s activities in Uzbekistan, increasing investment in the national IT ecosystem, creating new jobs for young people, and launching training and professional development programs for specialists. Particular attention was given to the growth of IT service exports, cooperation with startups, and support for innovative projects.
Sherzod Shermatov emphasized that Uzbekistan aims to attract leading international technology companies such as Accesa, as their presence contributes to boosting export potential, accelerating the development of the digital economy, and strengthening the country’s position in the global arena.
Accesa officially entered the Uzbek market in June this year and has since confirmed its plans for further expansion. Company representatives praised the favorable conditions created in the country for the IT sector, including infrastructure and regulatory incentives provided by IT Park Uzbekistan.
