He spoke about the issues that were discussed today at a meeting of the Central Election Commission. In particular, he noted that 8 international organizations are expected to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections: 274 representatives of the OSCE ODIHR, 66 - OSCE PA, 19 - SCO, 182 - CIS, 9 - CCTS, 5 - Parliamentary Assembly of the CCTS, 3 representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and development and the Hague Conference. It is also expected that 267 observers from 41 foreign countries will participate in the elections, which makes a total of 825 delegates.
To date, the number of voters declared in the Unified Electronic Voter List is 20 million 503 thousand 462 people. Of these, 10 147 772 people are men and 10 355 690 women. 1,721,358 people, or 8.4 percent of voters, are attached to 55 polling stations abroad. The remaining voters will vote at one of 10,260 polling stations across the country.
For the first time nationwide, the Unified Electronic Voter List and the Electoral Process Management Information System are used in the election process.
From 12 to 16 December, 20,479 voters exercised the right to early voting at polling stations located in Uzbekistan. In particular, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the largest number of voters was registered - 2,842 people.
The minimum indicator is registered in Syrdarya region - 438 people used their right to early voting
According to the results as of 16 December, 62,007 of our citizens living abroad took part in early voting.
