Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the trading system of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange “Avtoraqam”, there has been a sharp increase in online auto sales after the adoption of a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 350 from 4 June 2020.

In particular, over the period from 8 to 21 June, 4,300 number plates were sold for a total of 12.9 billion soums, which is 43% more than the figure for the same period before the adoption of the above resolution.

At the same time, in quantitative terms, the growth in sales of number plates was more than - 2.5 times, and the number of customers increased on average - 3.3 times. During the past auctions in one lot, an average of 41 counter applications were received, with an increase of 23.4%.

Intensification of sales of number plates is associated with the expansion of the category of state registration number plates (GRNZ) sold through online auctions of the exchange, as well as with a decrease in the starting cost of some of them, UzEX said.

In particular, the starting cost of number plates in Tashkent with the same letter combinations decreased from 50 to 40 basic estimated values, with a different combination, respectively, decreased from 40 to 30 basic estimated values.
