About 400 businessmen take part in Investor Day

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Investor Day was held at the Palace of Alisher Navoi cinema on the initiative of the Tashkent City Khokimiyat. This time around 400 businessmen took part in it.

Khokim of Tashkent Jakhongir Artykhodzhaev and his deputies spoke with them about current issues, suggestions, problems.

Only about 100 entrepreneurs directly during the “Investor Day” were able to discuss important issues for them and present their projects. In particular, a number of proposals were received from entrepreneurs wishing to start building private educational institutions in the capital - schools and kindergartens.

From the khokimiyat’s side, in response, it was proposed to consider a specific object - the unfinished building of the secondary school No. 304 located in the territory of Sergeli district of the capital. This facility can be a project based on a public-private partnership.

In general, Investor Day was an opportunity to once again discuss and largely resolve issues related to the creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurs in the capital.

A number of appeals and questions were resolved on the spot, for the rest, instructions were given by the head of the city administration to the relevant subdivisions of the Tashkent Khokimiyat.
