About 23.3% children are engaged in preschool education in Uzbekistan

There are 4,950 state and 75 non-state preschool educational establishments in Uzbekistan, according to the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan pays great attention to alternative forms of training children to schools. There are 938 groups of short-term training, 444 center for early development, 1,123 Sunday schools, 48 groups at non-school establishments, 43 groups at mahallas. They train about 45,900 children at the school age and prepare them to schools.
