Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - About 1.5 million applicants have applied for undergraduate courses of the higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

The admission to undergraduate courses of the universities took place from 20 June to 20 July 2020.

The State Testing Center reports that in total the country’s universities have accepted 1 million 484 thousand 85 applications of applicants. In 2019, universities accepted documents from 1.066 million applicants.

According to the center, 798608 people applied for study at full-time departments of universities, 648,733 - correspondence courses and 36,744 - evening ones.
