About 14m women and children undergo medical examination

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 14 million people and children underwent medical examination in Uzbekistan, the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan.

Uzbek leader said that within the project “Healthy mother- healthy child”, over 13.6 million women and children underwent medical examination.

In the result, some 2.8 million women and 2.5 million children were rehabilitations, which became an important step in this direction, President added.
