Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 May 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov will take part in a meeting of foreign ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which will be held in a video conference format.

The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the SCO member countries will discuss the preparations for upcoming events within the organization, exchange views on the status and prospects of cooperation in the context of the new coronavirus infection pandemic (COVID-19).

Separately, issues of promoting the SCO political settlement in Afghanistan will be considered.
