Rashid Alimov arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in International Conference under the auspices of the United Nations “Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Mutual Prosperity”, which will be held in Samarkand on 10-11 November 2017.

During the talks, the sides exchanged views on agenda of international forum and practical aspects of participation of the SCO and its bodies in resolving issues of ensuring security and sustainable development in the Central Asian region.

The sides also discussed promising directions for further development of the SCO.
