Abdulaziz Kamilov receives delegation of ECO

On 20 June 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Halil Ibrahim Akca.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides discussed the state and prospects of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ECO, primarily in trade-economic, transport-communication and other spheres, exchanged views on practical aspects of strengthening regional cooperation.
The Minister also congratulated Hadi Soleimanpour, who attended the meeting, on his appointment to the post of Secretary General of ECO for a three-year term from August 2018.
