The delegations of Afghanistan included the Senior Adviser to the President of Afghanistan for Economic Affairs Humayun Kayumi and the Special Representative of the President for Development of Cooperation with CIS Countries and Russia Mohammad Shokir Korgan.
According to the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the preparations for the upcoming Uzbek-Afghan summit, including draft bilateral documents.
It is expected that in early December 2017, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
