Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with Deputy Secretary General of European External Action Service for Political Affairs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 May 2018, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Jean-Christophe Belliard, Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs - Political Director for the European External Action Service (EEAS), in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).

According to the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the state of relations between Uzbekistan and the EU. The sides noted with satisfaction the dynamic nature of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on relevant aspects of international and regional issues.

In January-February 2018, the total trade turnover of Uzbekistan with the EU member states exceeded 375 million euros, which is 12% more than the same period in 2017.
