Abdulaziz Kamilov holds talks with Swiss official
During the meeting, the sides considered current state and perspectives of bilateral relations, international and regional affairs, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.
At the meeting, the sides expressed interest in developing dialogue based on constructive and mutual beneficial bases.
Currently, there are 82 enterprises with Swiss capital. The sides are considering as perspective direction implementation of projects at free industrial-economic zone Navoi, special economic zone Angren and special economic zone Jizzakh, where favourable conditions created for foreign businesses.
The Uzbek side expressed interest in studying achievements of Switzerland in development of tourism and its infrastructure, creation of tourism zones, training specialists at educational establishments in Switzerland.
It was noted that Uzbekistan and Switzerland have positive experience of interaction within the international organizations, including within the UN and its agency and the OSCE.
The sides exchanged opinion on other issues, representing mutual interest.
On the same day, the Uzbek-Swiss political consultations between Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Swiss Confederation was held in Tashkent.
The Ambassador of Switzerland to Uzbekistan Nicolas Brühl participated at the meetings and talks.
