The meetings were held on the sidelines of an international conference “Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Mutual Prosperity”.
In particular, Abdulaziz Kamilov held meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Adviser to Pakistan’s Prime Minister for National Security Nasser Khan Janjua and President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Paolo Alli, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
All the interlocutors noted the importance of convening the international conference on security and sustainable development in Central Asia, underscored the relevance and timeliness of the initiatives put forward in the speech of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the opening of the forum, and also confirmed the interest of their countries and the organization to cooperate with Uzbekistan on their implementation.
The meetings also discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
