Diplomats of Uzbekistan and the United States discussed the results of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States (18-20 September 2017) and the meetings of the Uzbek leader with representatives of US business circles, as well as implementation of reached agreements.

Abdulaziz Kamilov and Pamela Leora Spratlen exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of the forthcoming bilateral contacts at various levels.

In particular, they discussed the participation of the US delegation at an international high-level conference “Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Prosperity”, which will be held in November under the auspices of the UN in Samarkand.
