Abdulaziz Kamilov congratulates Taro Kano with his appointment as Japanese Foreign Minister

“Let me cordially congratulate you on your appointment to the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, ” the Uzbek Foreign Minister noted.

“With particular satisfaction, I want to note that over the past period an open and fruitful political dialogue has been established between our countries on entire spectrum of bilateral and multilateral relations in the spirit of the Joint Statement on Friendship, Strategic Partnership and Cooperation, adopted in 2002,” Kamilov said.

“The official visit of the Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe, successfully held in October 2015 to Uzbekistan again demonstrated the high level of Uzbek-Japanese relations and gave an even more dynamism to the further development of bilateral cooperation,” Kamilov said.

“We attach great importance to implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of Mr. Shinzo Abe to Uzbekistan and we support further development of political dialogue at the highest level, filling practical content of comprehensive cooperation between our countries,” he added. “I am convinced that with your active support, traditionally friendly relations and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan will continue to develop in every possible way for benefit of the peoples of the two countries. Accept, Mr. Kono, my sincere wishes for good health, family well-being and success in a responsible public office,” Abdulaziz Kamilov said.
