Abdukodir Khusanov Named as Manchester City Player of the Month for March

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov has been named as Manchester City’s Player of the Month for March, the club announced.

In the fan vote, the Uzbek footballer comfortably outpaced competitors Rodri and Jeremy Doku. The club highlighted Khusanov’s outstanding performances, high work rate, and growing popularity among supporters due to his active defensive play.

This marks Khusanov’s second Etihad Player of the Month award in 2026; he was previously recognized as the team’s best player in January.

In the current season, Khusanov has featured in 21 matches for Manchester City, including 15 in the Premier League, five in the UEFA Champions League, and one in domestic cups, totaling over 800 minutes on the pitch.
