Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Turkish football club İstanbul Başakşehir has officially announced the signing of Uzbekistan national team midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullayev.

The player has signed a five-year contract. In the club’s statement, the Uzbek footballer was warmly welcomed to the team.

Earlier reports indicated that the transfer fee amounted to €7.5 million. Fayzullayev joined İstanbul Başakşehir from CSKA Moscow, where he had played since the summer of 2023. In the past season, he made 39 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing eight assists.
