A working group from Uzbekneftegaz visit Bukhara region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A working group of Uzbekneftegaz (Uzbek Oil and Gas) paid a visit to Bukhara region.
The purpose of the trip was to familiarize with the ongoing work in the region in the oil and gas industry, implementation of investment projects, social component, created working and living conditions for employees of enterprises and organizations of Uzbekneftegaz.
During the visit, a meeting of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz B. Sidikov with the khokim of the Bukhara region U. Barnoev was held. The agenda included a discussion of the implementation of basic economic indicators, timely payment of taxes to the budget of the region, construction and reconstruction of industrial and social facilities.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of investment projects in the field of oil and gas in the Bukhara region. It should be noted that the region plans to modernize the Bukhara refinery in order to produce products that meet the requirements of EURO-5, a project is planned to increase the capacity of UGS Gasley to 10 billion cubic meters and the construction of sulfur processing and granulation plants.
During the visit to the region, the working group studied the activities of the units of Uzbekneftegaz and social facilities. One of the addresses was the specialized pre-school institution No. 82 of the city of Bukhara, where the society’s management familiarized itself with the conditions created for children, catering and the conduct of the educational process.
Taking into account the social importance of providing consumers, including the population, with natural and liquefied gas, the management of Uzbekneftegaz visited the infrastructure facilities of gas distribution networks, a number of gas filling points and service centers for the supply of liquefied gas to the population. They were instructed to improve their activities and strengthen interaction with consumers, as well as to take all necessary measures to address current issues.
The working group also visited the designated areas for the agricultural free economic zone of Bukhoro-agro and got acquainted with the measures taken to build gas distribution infrastructure leading to the FEZ.
According to the results of the visit of the working group to the Bukhara region, relevant instructions were given to the heads of departments of Uzbekneftegaz for the timely solution of all the tasks.
