Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An 86-year-old woman, who was diagnosed with coronavirus, died in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The department notes that a resident of Chilanzar district was hospitalized on 19 June with high blood pressure, a change in speech and weakness in the arms and legs.

On 27 June, she was transferred to the intensive care unit due to worsening health conditions.

She was diagnosed with a stroke, cerebral edema, hypertension, coronary heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute heart and respiratory failure.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the woman died from cerebral edema and acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
