Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A webinar on “Measures to Combat the COVID-19 Pandemic Worldwide and Uzbekistan” was organized at Amity University in Tashkent in collaboration with the World Bank.

The World Bank, as one of the largest sources of finance and knowledge in the world, is implementing comprehensive and operational measures to assist developing countries in strengthening the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The World Bank international experts, UNDP representatives, experts from a number of government departments, who took part in the webinar, noted the ongoing worldwide fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the positive results of measures taken in Uzbekistan to combat coronavirus.

During the webinar, measures to counteract the COVID-19 pandemic based on open data were discussed and five projects that won the competition on this topic were presented.
