A vocational training center is being created under the Ministry of Public Education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to create a center for preparing students for future professions under the Ministry of Public Education” was adopted.

The main tasks of the Center are:

organizing the activities of circles in the direction of the future professions of students in general education schools; 

creating the necessary conditions for the effective and targeted use of students’ free time, increasing their creative, intellectual and entrepreneurial abilities, in-depth teaching of modern sciences;

strengthening the skills of independent decision-making, patriotism, national and universal values among students, developing healthy immunity to various threats in the information space;

organization of lessons and cultural and educational events aimed at putting forward by students their own initiatives and ideas.

The document determines that the total number of employees of the Center is no more than 30.

Sources of funding for the Center:

funds allocated from the State budget;

charitable donations of legal entities and individuals;

grants from international financial organizations and foreign states;

other sources not prohibited by law.

From 1 September 2022, the work of the director of the Center, as well as the leaders of circles, will be additionally encouraged at the expense of the director’s fund, as well as from the fund for supporting reforms in the field of public education under the Ministry of Public Education, based on the rules for evaluating the effectiveness of these persons.
