A project for 24.8 billion soums was implemented in the energy supply system

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the presidential resolution “On establishment of free economic zones (FEZ) “Urgut”,”Gijduvon”, “Kokand” and “Khazarasp” dated 12 January 2017 and a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to organize the activities of free economic zones” dated  10 April 2017, a large project was implemented in Nurata district of Samarkand region.

To provide electricity for enterprises under construction in Sazagan massif in the Urgut free economic zone, a 16-kilometer two-circuit transmission line was built in this area in accordance with the project and the Sazagan substation with a capacity of 110/10 kW was commissioned.

In order to provide electricity in the territory of entrepreneurial entities based on this project, a 10,000 kVA power transformer, five modern cells and electrical installations have been installed in the substation.

Joint-stock company “Regional Electric Networks” allocated 24.8 billion soums for these works.

Accelerated work is carried out on the construction of the 110/10 kW substation Sariktepa on the Sariktepa Urgut-1 massif in the Urgut free economic zone.
