Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Shafirkan district of Bukhara region, a woman born in 1962 was taken to the regional infectious diseases hospital on 21 June with suspected coronavirus, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

The woman had coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension, grade 3 obesity, pulmonary embolism. She was also placed in the intensive care unit with a diagnosis of 3 degree respiratory failure. Over the past 8 years, she has been treated with a diagnosis of coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension, heart failure.

During treatment, her condition was under the control of doctors in the Bukhara region, as well as specialists from medical institutions.

However, despite standard treatment, the patient died of acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
