A new gas-bearing facility discovered at the M25 field

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 July 2019, a new gas-bearing facility was opened in the Baysun district of the Surkhan-Darya region at the Mustaqillikning 25 yilligi (M25) field.

The gas object was discovered as a result of drilling operations at the M25 field. During the construction of the well 1-O, in addition to the XV and XVa horizons, the XVI horizon was opened. The average daily gas inflow is 300,000 meters. The obtained industrial flow of natural gas indicates that the XVI horizon is gas-saturated and states the discovery of a new gas-bearing facility within the M25 field.

Drilling and well construction work was carried out as part of a production sharing agreement by SURHAN GAS CHEMCAL OPERATING COMPANY with the involvement of ERIELL, which has extensive experience in implementing projects in Central Asia, the Russian Federation and the Middle East.
