Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A multi-functional electronic platform “UNIONS” was developed for interaction between non-governmental non-profit organizations and volunteers. It has already registered 111 non-governmental non-profit organizations and 103 volunteers.
The web platform will allow timely informing about social, cultural, environmental, sports and other events and projects in the republic. The task of the new resource is to create a digital system where each participant will have the opportunity to express themselves and regardless of geographic location to contribute to the development of Uzbekistan.
Among its goals are:
- Creation of a single electronic platform for interaction between NGOs and volunteers of Uzbekistan;
- Development of different areas of volunteering, social entrepreneurship;

On this electronic platform, organizations can publish announcements about projects and promotions, news, ideas, photos and video materials on events.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to conduct an electronic portfolio of their activities, experience gained, letters of recommendation and projects in which they participated, which will help with their employment. In order to motivate and support volunteers, a platform has developed a function for exchanging accumulated points for bonuses from UNIONS partners.
For organizations, developers will help create a digital profile on the platform to create a single information database about their activities and ongoing projects, events, tasks.
