A Modern Tourist Center to Be Developed in Shahimardan and Yordon
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Significant potential has been identified for the development of various types of tourism, including ecotourism, pilgrimage tourism, and adventure tourism, in the villages of Shahimardan and Yordon in the Ferghana district.
Comprehensive work is underway to transform these areas into a modern tourist center with comfortable conditions for visitors.
During a discussion of the master plan for the Shahimardan and Yordon tourist center, prepared by local entrepreneurs, the Hokim of Fergana Region, Khairullo Bozorov, gave specific instructions for the implementation of the planned projects.
According to the plan, both zones will feature tourist complexes, restaurants, hotels, capsule houses, service and retail facilities, green spaces, children’s playgrounds, sports fields, and attractions.
The plan also includes the construction of a cable car, bridges, and a ski resort, creating conditions for year-round recreation.
After reviewing the master plan, the regional head emphasized the importance of further refining the document, ensuring proper placement of each project, and providing modern infrastructure for tourists.
