A Modern Industrial Zone with US$350 Million in Investments to Be Established in Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a working visit to Istanbul, the Hokim of the Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, met with the founder of Heyal Holding, Vahdettin Heyal, and the company’s leading architects.

The parties discussed plans to establish an industrial zone in the Kuva district of the Ferghana region, drawing on advanced international experience, as well as the potential to host promising investment projects within the zone.

According to the preliminary concept, the total investment volume for the project will amount to US$350 million. The industrial zone is expected to accommodate more than 15 projects, including trade and exhibition halls, conference centers, hotels, large shopping and entertainment complexes, and other infrastructure facilities.

The production buildings will be multi-storey and equipped with “smart” management systems. To enhance energy efficiency, the installation of solar panels is planned, and waste recycling systems will be introduced to protect the environment. As part of the project, a vocational training center will also be established, where local specialists will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.

During the meeting, a presentation of the preliminary project was delivered. In the coming days, Heyal Holding specialists will arrive in Ferghana to jointly develop detailed project documentation and organize construction works.

Following the talks, the Ferghana regional administration and Heyal Holding signed a memorandum of mutual international cooperation.
