A Modern BoMI Finance Center Opens in Tashkent with Participation of South Korean Investors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The official opening of the new BoMI Finance Center took place in Tashkent. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Ilzat Kasimov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, and BoMI CEO Kim Dok Yong.

The new complex is a modern 30-story building, standing 143.86 meters tall with a total area exceeding 88,000 square meters. The facility was constructed according to international standards and is earthquake-resistant up to a magnitude of 9. The building is equipped with 12 high-speed elevators featuring intelligent control systems and provides nearly 500 parking spaces, including designated areas for electric vehicles.

BoMI Finance Center symbolizes a new level of business partnership between Uzbekistan and South Korea. Currently, South Korean direct investments in Uzbekistan’s economy exceed $8 billion, with 671 enterprises operating in the country with Korean capital. The joint investment portfolio totals $4.8 billion across 92 projects.

The opening of the center marks an important step in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries and creates new opportunities for the development of international business in Uzbekistan.
