Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Director of the O’qituvchi Scientific and Methodological Publishing Center under the Agency for Information and Mass Communications of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan O. Tigay visited Almaty, where she held a number of meetings with leading publishing houses and printing houses of Kazakhstan, specializing in the creation and publication of school books, developmental and didactic literature.

The meeting was organized by the President of Almatykitap Baspasy LLP Gaukhar Aytzhanovna Saimasaeva, who demonstrated the work of the open educational platform opik.kz, which allows access to high-quality educational literature and easy to search for material on the topic.

During these meetings, memorandums of understanding and cooperation were concluded in the development and publication of textbooks and teaching aids / manuals with such well-known large companies as 8 & 8 LLP and Almatykitap baspasy.

“Modern educational technologies create the prerequisite for improving the educational process, imposing ever higher demands on the quality of development and use of educational and methodological complexes,” said Oksana Tigay. - Today, special attention is paid to the preparation of school textbooks and teaching aids, since on their basis today’s students will be able to master and develop the competencies of the 21st century for the successful realization of themselves in life and society. The exchange of knowledge and experience, cooperation and teamwork are a key link in solving this problem. ”

It was noted that the established partnerships will contribute to the further development of the Center, the creation of modern teaching and methodological complexes for the Presidential schools of the Republic of Uzbekistan, taking into account their specifics, will help to improve the process of preparing new generation textbooks for the public education system, the implementation of joint projects of mutual interest for parties.
