Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 28 October, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade with the head of the representative office of Itochu Corporation in Uzbekistan T. Imaizumi.

During the meeting, investment projects being worked out jointly with the Japanese side in promising sectors and export agreements for the supply of products demanded in the Japanese market were discussed: the current state of negotiations with counterparts from Uzbekistan was monitored, existing issues were studied, suggestions were made to address them in order to reach final agreements.

Following the meeting, it was also planned to arrange a visit by Itochu Corporation executives to Uzbekistan to familiarize themselves with the industrial infrastructure and conduct constructive negotiations in the designated areas.
