Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Hududgaztaʼminot held negotiations with representatives of the company "Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A." (Italy). The meeting was organized to discuss the issue of improving the functioning of gas distribution networks, as well as ensuring a stable supply of natural gas to the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was emphasized that the country’s leadership set tasks for the stable and uninterrupted supply of natural gas to consumers of the republic, improving the natural gas metering system, preventing losses, as well as ensuring the timely and most complete collection of payments for consumed natural gas.

In accordance with the resolution of the President from 24 September 2020 No. PP-4840, JSC "Hududgaztaʼminot" is actively working on the implementation of the project "Implementation of an automated monitoring and metering system for natural gas" (ASKUG) based on the principle of "production-gas distribution station - district border ( city) - the entrance part of a large section - consumer ”, installation of metering devices, primarily in regions with a high level of natural gas consumption and debt, connection of large consumers and business entities to ASKUG, transfer of the gas supply system from a three-stage to a two-stage system of natural gas supply to consumers.

It was noted that the existing gas supply system has a number of disadvantages. These include the emergence of problems with gas supply to consumers at endpoints as a result of a decrease in gas pressure in the winter; high technological losses as a result of the construction of a large number of hydraulic fracturing units (77 thousand units) and gas pipelines (about 90 thousand kilometers), large material costs for their operation; high human factor and lack of transparency in the process of supplying natural gas to households.

To solve these problems, the commercial director of Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. M. Brolyato was offered at the first stage of the tasks, to conduct training of technical specialists of JSC "Hududgaztaʼminot" and an overview of the range of regulators of the company "Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A." online. During the training, it is planned to tell the specialists about the differences in the functioning of regulators installed on the gas distribution networks of JSC "Hududgaztaʼminot" and their correct selection.

The parties agreed to agree on the start date of the training, to carry out a pilot project for the installation of pressure regulators by Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. on the gas distribution networks of Shaykhantakhur district of the city of Tashkent, to organize joint meetings for the prompt resolution of emerging issues.
